A playground for Coaching and Self Exploration

Waan Studios is a playground for exploring a life with more play, purpose, and connection to self and others. Here, we cultivate new perspectives, tap into our innate potential, and foster self-awareness and confidence. It's a sanctuary for transformative self-discovery intertwined with play, curiosity, and the human experience.

Waan is a Cantonese word that embodies the essence of play, enjoyment, and spontaneity. Growing up in Canada with immigrant parents from Hong Kong, Cantonese was my first language. I chose this name to honor my roots and signify my deliberate shift from a lifelong pursuit of perfectionism to embracing joy and exploration. It symbolizes possibility, growth, and transformation for both myself and all who step into the studio.

I am a Co-Active trained coach and meditation teacher in training. My intention is to share the tools that have allowed me to soften my grip around being afraid of making mistakes, trying new things, and not executing with perfection. This space is my offering, providing a sanctuary to slow down, enjoy the journey, and explore more of who you are with a sense of freedom and empowerment.

Appreciations from clients

“Through our first call, I realized what truly set her apart is how she leaned into understanding my aspirations to guide me towards my own definition of success. We engaged in conversations that held both contemplative reflection and substantive goals. It’s how she listened to my hardships and articulated a translatable framework to MY life that made the difference.”

“Thought of you today as I’m having one of those ‘pinch me’ moments this Monday morning. Little me would have never thought I’d be working as a designer in London. Wouldn’t have done it without you and your guidance. I’d like to express my gratitude and appreciation towards you and your mentorship :) You’ve got no idea how much you’ve helped! Thank you so much.”

“I really can't thank you enough for truly listening to me and coaching me! You gave me the tools and guidance to help me be more cognizant of my thoughts and emotions. I am content with where I am at currently and the future doesn't seem scary anymore”
